Sibu collect 12 golds to emerge champions
SIBU: Sibu taekwondo exponents ruled supreme when they collected 12 gold, seven silver and seven bronze medals to emerge overall champions in the state-level taekwondo championship which concluded at SMK Methodist on Sunday.
The men’s team collected six gold, five silver and four bronze medals while the ladies collected six gold, two silver and three bronze medals.
The first runners-up spot went to Bintulu, with six golds, six silvers and seven bronzes.
Meradong took third placing with two golds and four bronzes followed by Rajang Club with one gold, two silvers and four bronzes.
Utama finished with a sole silver.
