HSL gets Samalaju infrastructure works worth RM74 million

KUCHING: Hock Seng Lee Bhd (HSL) has secured an infrastructure works project at Samalaju Industrial Park, Bintulu for a sum of RM73.725 million.

The construction company in a filing to Bursa Malaysia yesterday said the company has entered into an agreement with Samado Sdn Bhd on April 28 for the contruction of an infrastructure works project at Samalaju Industrial Park.

HSL revealed that the contract sum for the project is RM73.725 million.

The company added the scope of works for the project includes piling, earthworks, drainage, pavement, sewerage station system and related mechanical and electrical works.

HSL believes the project will be able to be completed by the first quarter of 2016.

The company is confident that the contribution from the project is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of HSL group for the financial years ending 2014 to 2016.
