‘Giant’ perks for U Mobile prepaid subscribers

KUCHING: U Mobile prepaid subscribers are in for a surprise when they reload their mobile credits this festive season as the group is rewarding subscribers with free Giant cash vouchers when they purchase reload cards at all U Mobile stores and authorised dealers nationwide.

From February 7 onwards, subscribers who purchase the RM100 U Mobile prepaid reload pack will be wowed with a RM10 Giant cash voucher to shop at Giant retail outlets during the festive season.

Subscribers who buy the RM70 pack, which comes with a RM50 and two RM10 reload cards, will find a RM5 Giant cash voucher within the package.

The Giant cash vouchers can be redeemed in all 128 Giant retail outlets across Malaysia, and come with a validity period of one year.

This initiative is part of U Mobile’s value-added offering to its prepaid subscribers for opting U Mobile as their preferred telco to power their mobile phones and stay connected with their friends and family. The vouchers will come in handy for subscribers who are shopping for the upcoming festive season.

“We are leveraging our relationship with Giant, which we have partnered to offer our prepaid SIM packs in all Giant outlets, to reward our prepaid customers who have been supportive to U Mobile. This attests to our commitment of providing more value-added offerings apart from quality products and services paired with affordable rates,” said U Mobile chief executive officer, Jaffa Sany Ariffin.

“This special offering is also timely for the Chinese New Year period and I believe our subscribers who are celebrating will find the Giant cash vouchers useful for their New Year celebration,” he added.
