‘KL Gangster’ to screen at ‘Seri Temasek’ Award
KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian box-office film that collected RM12 million, ‘KL Gangster’, will be screened at the exhibition in conjunction with the ‘Seri Temasek’ Award to be held in Singapore today.
A Malaysian delegation of 19 members led by Finas Chairman Datuk Md Afendi Hamdan left for the republic yesterday to attend the biennial event to give recognition to Malaysian, Indonesian and Singapore artistes.
Md Afendi is scheduled to deliver a speech at the ‘Anugerah Seri Temasek’ and give away the Seri Temasek Outstanding Award at the event to be held at Hotel Fairmont, Singapore.
Local entertainers scheduled to perform at the award presentation are Datuk Sharifah Aini, Jamal Abdillah and saxophonist Datuk Dr Ahmad Nawab. — Bernama
