KUCHING: Two suspects were yesterday arrested at Taman BDC Stampin here for suspected involvement in a burglary.
Police arrested them at 11am yesterday after a public tip-off that gave details on their car.
They went to the victim’s house and patrolled the area. At about 12pm they noticed the suspects’ car and stopped it.
Police confiscated the car, two laptops, some gold accessories and watches believed to be stolen.
Investigations revealed the two suspects, in their 30s, were using a stolen car. One of them had been recently released from jail for involvement in other burglary cases.
The 50-year-old victim said when his neighbour phoned to tell him about the break-in, he rushed home to find the gate and door wide open.
Among items missing were two latops.
