KUCHING: Palm wood flooring by ENiTo, which are made using old palm trees in plantations are now available in Kuching through Goodrich Global (EM) Sdn Bhd (Goodrich Global).By opting for its eco-friendly palm wood flooring, consumers can help to preserve the earth’s future.

Goodrich Global (EM) Sdn Bhd’s regional manager Eric Yan said ENiTo is an environmentally responsible flooring company, highly committed to preserving the earth’s future.

“The company offers eco-friendly palm wood flooring of high-quality, an innovative alternative to tropical hardwood timbers that are fast depleting due to deforestation and illegal logging,” he said, pointing out that the product is now in the market here.

He added that Goodrich Global is the sole distributor for the palm wood flooring in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

ENiTo floor finish system produces a durable surface of eight acrylic ultra violet coating layers. These high-class, prefinished flooring boards guarantee the highest level of quality.

Yan said the company provides a comprehensive warranty covering its acrylic ultra violet floor finishing system.

“We are giving a warranty of 25 years for residential customers and five years for commercial customers,” he said.

Yan said in conjunction with the launch of the new products, the company is giving special promotion prices until this end of this month. He also said the company is also currently having a roadshow at tHe Spring shopping mall (South Court) until Dec 16.

Special promotion prices are also available for Parador products imported from Germany which have a special feature known as Parador ProAir System.

According to him, ProAir is the first system for laminate flooring and engineered wood flooring that clearly reduces unhealthy airborne indoor substances such as formaldehyde and unpleasant smells like tobacco smoke.

The ProAir system is based on the organic protein, Protectin. Using an innovative process, the active substance is applied to the floor at the factory. Protectin sets off a physiochemical process which ensures that harmful substances and emissions are absorbed, broken down and neutralised, an active principle that has been derived from nature.

This process is permanently effective due to the almost inexhaustible absorption capacity of the ProAir system. A warranty of 25 years is given for residential use and five years for commercial use.

Other brands of laminated flooring are Tarketett from Germany, Pengo from Sweeden, and Quick Step from Belgium. All the products meet the European Producer Laminate Flooring Association standard.
