Association to hold second ICT expo

SIBU: Computer Sales and Services Association (CSSA) Sarawak, Sibu branch will host its second ICT expo themed ‘Sarawak ICT Expo 2009 (II)’ at Sibu Trade and Exhibition Centre from Dec 11 till 13.Its organizing chairperson May Lau said the expo is open to the public daily from 10am to 10pm.

Lau added that the 70 booths were almost all taken up with 32 participants taking up a total of 66 booths.

“I urge those keen to participate in the expo to hurry up,” she told a press conference here yesterday.

She said a host of bargains and attractive gifts would be up for grab during the threeday expo.

Lau, added that for every purchase of RM300 and above in a single receipt or invoice, customers were entitled to a lucky draw.

Explaining, she said the lucky draw coupon must be deposited at the CSSA redemption counter on or before 6.30pm on Dec 13.

The draw starts at 7pm.

She, however, stressed that each customer is entitled to one lucky draw item only.

On prizes, she said the first prize winner would walk away with a unit of Lenovo Core 2 Duo Notebook while second prize winner will stand to take home a unit of Gateway All-in-one MPC.

The third prize is a unit of 21.5” Samsung LCD monitor.

Special prizes consist of 1 unit of Brother All-in-one Brother Printer, two units of HP F4280 All-inone Printer, and two units of HP D2560 printer.

Consolation prizes are two units of hard disks and five units of handy drive, she said.

Towards this end, Lau urged those keen to take the booths to contact her at 013-8015816 or the organising chairman Jackson Ngui at 016-862 3880. The public are urged to check out the latest ICT products during the threeday expo.

Among those present were CSSA Sarawak, Sib Branch chairman Wong Chi Tieng, vice-chairman Wong Ing Ang and secretary Law Sieh Hieng.
