POLLUTION of falling moral standards is the seed of all other pollutants that are degrading the quality of life.
A parallel can be drawn between the growing pollution in the urban areas and the erosion of moral values in public and private lives.
Just as anti-polluting devices are in-stalled in industries to check pollution, similarly, moral educational programs can be implemented to help check the pollution of corruption and immo-rality in society.
l Each individual can make a significant change in a society by following high moral principles in his personal and professional life.
l The essence of all religions is the spirit of love, truth and service to mankind.
l People should be guided to look within themselves and find goodness inside.
The everlasting edifice of life is built on the foundation of virtues which are universal in nature.
By organising our inner resources, our relationship with our fellowmen can improve and we can build a society which is non-violent and non-exploitative. Only the vision of the human race as one family can save the world.
What is seen outside is the expansion of an inner awareness. It is in the mind of man that experiences of life are felt. In introversion we are peaceful inside and its influence can be experienced by others who come in contact with us.
The virtues of humility, maturity, tolerance, sweetness and courage cannot be measured in terms of monetary considerations.
Thought for reflection:
Like a bee who seeks only flowers that yield pure honey, so too, our mind should seek out good qualities that blossom.
