KUALA LUMPUR: Two women died when the car they were in caught fire after an accident at Km11 of Jalan Batang Kali-Genting.In the 8.55pm incident Low Lian Hooi, 60, from Kampung Baru Tambahan, Ulu Yam Baru and Tee Eng, 62, from Ulu Yam Lama were seated at the back when the right back tyre blew out and the car skidded into a drain and caught fire.

Both the women died at the scene while the driver and the front passenger in their 50’s were scalded and were being treated at the Kuala Kubu Baharu Hospital.

Both the bodies were sent for post-mortem. — Bernama
