BYG eyeing East Malaysian market
|
KUCHING: BYG Worldwide Bhd, the producer of leading health products Extremen and Extrewomen, will target the East Malaysian market this year following their success in Peninsular Malaysia. BYG chairman Datuk Raja Ahmad Niza Ismail said he believed the products had a bigger market in East Malaysia, considering the size of the states, especially Sarawak. “This is a big state which means a lot of business opportunities. So, if one puts his heart into this business, in no time at all, there will be more successful agents selling our products,” Raja Ahmad told a crowd of 100 at an award presentation ceremony held for their agents here on Saturday night . He said last year, agents in Kedah received awards for being most outstanding. Looking at Sarawak’s progress so far, he was convinced it could be the next state with the most outstanding agents. Raja Ahmad reminded the agents to stay focused in their effort to promote the products, and be prepared to face year 2009 which could be a year of economic difficulties. Held for the first time in Kuching, the event saw five outstanding agents receive their incentives including Sarawak coordinator Dr Charles Liew. Liew said Extremen and Extrewomen are made from Maca root extract specially imported from Peru in South America. They also contain ginseng essence, instant milk, high quality coffee and fructose, making it a healthy and tasty beverage. He said both these extracts were known to promote health. Maca which is rich in phosphorus, calcium, iron, protein, amino acids and vitamins can solve many health problems. “Both products are able to solve health problems such as impotence, tiredness, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart problems, gout, migraine, kidney problems, asthma and improve male and female hormone disorder,” he added. Maca had been tested by the Food and Drugs Administration in 89 countries, where it was proven safe to consume and without harmful side-effects. Extremen and Extrewomen are widely distributed in Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand where many testify to their effectiveness. Also present at the gathering was Extremen’s top agent Ameerudin Mohamad from Penang.
