KUALA LUMPUR: The Peninsular Malaysia Road Transport Officers Union pledged full support for the Congress of Unions of Employees in the Public and Civil Service’s (Cuepacs) call to boycott the Efficiency Assessment Level Test (PTK) next year.
Its president Hamzah Masri said as an affiliate of Cuepacs, the union had discussed and briefed its members and the feedback received would be handed over to Cuepacs during its congress.
“We feel the PTK does not benefit and the process results in a lot of wastage. Furthermore, even officers who had passed have difficulty gaining promotion.
“There is also the question of date changes that disrupt the preparations of those sitting for the PTK exam,” he told Bernama here yesterday.
Hamzah added that Cuepacs had submitted a more feasible proposal on the efficiency assessment to the Public Service Department (PSD) and was waiting for a reply by Dec 31.

that why they never improve themself in any field. because they all feel very comfortable with the present regulations with annual increment to be anounced. whether it is a policy or regulations is not a case anyway. but to those who prefer to skip PTK, seem that peace for you to QUIT earlier rather than being kept as an economic burden….
