SHOW GOES WRONG: The mentally unsound man at the scene.

The somewhat comical incident occurred around 7pm in front of the Old Court House when the unsound man in his 50s walked up to a group of young women sitting on a concrete ledge.

Without being prompted or encouraged, the shirtless character began displaying his so-called fighting skills for all to see which, according to witnesses, included karate chops and scissor kicks.

As luck would have had it, the wannabe martial artist slipped during one of his scissor kick movements and fell backwards, slamming his head hard against the concrete floor.

To the horror of those gathered around, the unsound man appeared unable to move as blood started seeping out of the gash on his head.

Paramedics arrived within minutes of being notified and attended to the injured man before transporting him to the Sarawak General Hospital for further treatment.
