Shahrudie and Leh Ping are top cueists
SIBU: Shahrudie Laminshan and Kong Leh Ping were the champions in the men’s and women’s categories of a snooker competition here on Sunday.
Shahrudie beat Lim Chung Kien to lift the title in the event jointly organised by Institute of Rejang Journalists and Sibu Division Billiards Snooker Association.
Abang Morni and Wong Siong Hing finished third and fourth.
Leh Ping finished ahead of Ling Hung Chung with Lily Lim and Leong Muk Chin third and fourth.
A total of 16 players took part.
Among those present at the final was the sponsor Dr Gregory Hii Sui Cheng, himself a keen snooker fan.
