KUCHING: The first branch of Mini-Mep Maxis exclusive partner is now open at the Kenyalang Park commercial centre, providing convenience to nearby residents to conduct their Maxis transactions.
Its owner Carolyn Wong said the Mini-Mep provided almost all services as the Maxis centre in Satok like bill payment, registration, bill enquiries and SIM card replacement.
Chief operation officer of Maxis Jon Eddy Abdullah officiated at the opening of the branch on June 25 in the presence of the head of distribution and regional management Jeff Chong, regional manager Lionel Ch’ng and dealer support executive Syamsul Razuan.
“The setting up of this first Mini-Mep in Kenyalang Park gives another option to customers living nearby to do their transactions.
“They can save a lot of time and the trouble in going all the way to the Maxis centre in Satok,” said Wong.
Customers can just walk in anytime between 10am and 9pm daily and they can expect fast and reliable services, apart from being served by professional consultants and experiencing 3G service.
“So far there is no Maxis service centre in Kenyalang Park here so I am glad to be the first one to provide this service.
“There are quite a number of people who are Maxis users living nearby Kenyalang Park and King Centre areas,” she added.
Maxis provides various packages for customers, including the new family plus 30 plan, which is a new rate plan that comes with free voice calls, video calls and short messaging system between 10 supplementary lines. Customers can share their talk time, and with all these, they need only to pay a monthly commitment of RM30 for each line.
